This resort also has Atlantis Marine Adventures, an experience that lets you dive with over 100 marine biologists as you meet marine life. You can meet stingrays, sharks, snub and scuba, snorkel and even dive down to the Ruins Lagoon as you swim with the tropical fish and sharks. Atlantis has the largest open-air marine habitat in the world and that includes 14 lagoons and more than 50,000 aquatic animals representing over 250 marine species.
You’ll want to take a look at their Marine Exhibits where you can see the Caribbean reef sharks and nurse sharks through a see-through waterslide tunnel or from the surrounding deck and panoramic windows. There’s a cenote (a freshwater underground cave), an estuary lagoon, a predator lagoon, and more. Don’t forget to visit The Dig, a collection of marine life exhibits that takes you through the streets and tunnels of the legendary lost city of Atlantis.
There are over 100 venomous Indo-Pacific Ocean Lionfish, iridescent jellyfish, and six-foot Moray Eels. You won’t want to miss the interactive touch tank aquarium that holds conch, starfish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, crabs, and horseshoe crabs.
Golf enthusiasts will want to visit the Ocean Club Golf Course, an18-hole par 72 championship course.
The Mandara Spa at Atlantis is another part of this resort that will captivate you.
