Every couple has a song or place that they feel best represents them and they claim as theirs. For Sanam and Savanth, the infinity sign, meaning “forever,” symbolized their love. They connected with its powerful meaning and if you flip the “S” from each of their names, you can arrange them to form the infinity symbol.
From the portraits of their wedding, it’s clear that this couple is one that has the kind of love that will certainly go on endlessly. Through every sweet, playful and heart-felt moment in their wedding, guests got to not only witness but also take part in a love story that is as beautiful as the ocean surrounding them during their wedding ceremony.
Read on to learn about the details of this incredible wedding and get best practices you can use for your own wedding journey.
The beginning of a dream destination wedding starts with picking the perfect location and resort. There are hundreds of resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean and not all of them have the level of experience you want in Indian weddings.
Some offer Indian wedding packages and others don’t. Some have properties that are breath-taking in every corner while others have only parts of their property that are perfect for a wedding.
There are so many things to think about in finding the right resort. That’s why Sanam and Savanth trusted us to help them make it easy to find the resort for their destination wedding. We took them through our signature Resort Match Finder™ process where we delved into their vision for their wedding and asked questions to help find the resort that checked all of the boxes for them.
After narrowing it all down, we recommended Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun. If you’re looking for the kind of wedding experience your guests won’t forget, it starts with having the perfect resort.
Working with a travel concierge like us not only makes it easy but even more affordable with the connections we have with the resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean.
After finding the right resort, they worked with the Pyaar Planning to bring their vision to life. This talented team made sure every detail of their wedding week was flawless.
We love recommending them to our clients for their destination weddings because they make wedding planning an easy process for couples. A destination wedding can have many moving parts so working with a wedding planner is crucial.
As you look for one, pay attention to how organized the team seems to be in their communications with you. You also want to pick the company that seems genuinely interested in you and your vision.
You’ll want the one that not only listens to your ideas but also comes prepared with some of their own to make it all even better.
Telling your wedding story well so that it captures the depth of your love means you need to work with a respected pro team.
That’s why Sanam and Savanth chose to work with Romanza Photography. These photographers create portraits that are elegant, chic and made with an eye for the meaningful details. They choose unique angles and frame their subjects in surprisingly beautiful ways that make each portrait special.
As you look for a photographer, finding one that has their own special style will be the key to having a wedding album you will love. Ask about their turnaround times so you know when you can expect your pictures.
Each wedding event stood out on its own thanks to the beautiful floral and décor by Tulipania and Gama. They expertly crafted the surroundings for each event with true attention to every detail to ensure that the guests had an amazing experience.
The key to picking a great décor and floral team is finding one that has relationships with the resort you are considering.
That means they have experience there so everything will flow smoothly for your wedding week.
The sangeet night had a red-carpet theme with large lit stars serving as entrances to the event for the guests. Like a true start-studded event, the guests did a quick interview on camera before going to their seats.
Sanam, dressed in a vibrant red beaded outfit, shined the entire night. She and Savanth put on a well-choreographed performance thanks to Kruti Shah (Sanskruti Dance School).
Guests cheered as they smoothly moved together in perfect unison. Your sangeet dance is one of the highlights of your wedding so it’s important to find a choreographer who can make you look and feel confident.
Check out their social media to see examples of their work and don’t be afraid to ask to speak to their past clients.
When it came time to get Sanam ready for her wedding week, her glam team, consisting of Alex Corbanezi and Styling Trio, helped her look her best. Both of these teams offer pro-level makeup and hair services that are designed to bring out the beauty of South Asian clients.
Sanam had a natural look for her wedding ceremony that highlighted her eyes and lips perfectly. Paired with her ornate, soft-pink wedding outfit by Reeta Bhatt, she looked perfect.
Throughout the week, she had looks that featured smokey eyes or darker neutral lips but no matter which event was happening, she looks breath-takingly beautiful. Finding the right people for your glam team can be easier once you find one of them.
For example, if you find your makeup artist, you can ask for referrals for a hair stylist (unless they also offer this too).
Show your team the outfits you have in mind for your wedding week so they can suggest looks that will work with what you’ll wear.
For the wedding ceremony, bunches of pink and white flowers showered the mandap which was decorated with a soft, sheer pink fabric that danced with the ocean breeze. Alters, some with all white roses, and others with white and pink flowers, lined the aisle.
The bridesmaids held up humorous signs aimed at Savanth with sayings such as “If you want the bride, cash can’t hide!” As Pandit Jaydish Tripati instructed Savanth to place the floral garland around Sanam’s neck, colorful smoke cannons blasted into the air coupled with excited shouts from the guests.
And in the end, fireworks set off in the night sky in an explosion of fiery glitter that was the perfect way to start their journey as husband and wife.
During the reception, Sanam and Savanth’s first dance as husband and wife was extra special thanks to the sparklers that lit up as he dipped her in the end.
Later, guests danced as they fired off confetti blasters and had LED robot dancers on the dance floor all by the Pyrotech team.
With their services, our clients have upleveled their wedding experience and added more excitement to each event. Shekhar Kripalani played dhol and sang as the crowd danced. Adding in fun elements like fireworks, smoke bomb canons and LED dancers makes your wedding celebrations even more fun.
There are so many vendors available but finding a company who can offer all or most of these options under one roof will be the key to making these add-ons affordable.
A wedding this spectacular happens when you have wonderful vendor partners.
