We are so excited to welcome you all to our wedding weekend at the Moon Palace The Grand in Cancun, Mexico.
We have set up a group reservation service with Indian Destination Wedding to make this experience as easy as possible.
We have arranged special events for our wedding weekend and in order to participate in these events, you must book hotel accommodations through our travel agent. If you make your own hotel arrangements, you will incur additional fees in order to participate in our events at the resort. Please note, a three (3) night minimum stay is required, but you are welcome to extend your vacation using our special group rates.

Roundtrip Airport transfers from Cancun International Airport (CUN) are $35 per person.
Roundtrip airport transfers will be automatically added and reflected for every guest in their confirmation and invoice.
You will be sent an email 90 days prior to arrival to submit your flight info using the form in that email. Please have your flights booked by that time.
Flight Information Deadline
All flight information is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. For this group, the flight information deadline date is 03/11/2027.
Any flight information received within 45 days prior to arrival may be subject to additional charges or may be denied by the transfer company whereby you would have to reserve your own airport transfers.
Additional Airport Transfer Information
Arrival airport transfers are specifically from the airport to the wedding resort listed above. Departure transfers are from the wedding resort listed above to the airport. If you are staying somewhere else prior to the wedding or or after the wedding at another resort then please let our team know (AT THE TIME OF BOOKING) so we can provide you a custom option.
Baggage Allowance – The transfer vehicle allows for one suitcase and one carry-on per passenger. If you will have more luggage than the allowed amount, please let us know immediately by emailing us at transfers@indiandestinationwedding.com so we can make arrangements for you.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the current traffic conditions with the construction of additional roads near the airport, your departure transfer pickup time could be up to 5 hours prior to your flight’s departure time.
There is no car seat law in Mexico. If you require the use of a car seat, we recommend that you bring your own. The resort is only 15 minutes away from the airport.
PLEASE NOTE: Travel insurance is only available to guests who have a valid US or Canadian mailing address where they reside. However, residents of the Quebec province are not eligible. If you live in the province of Quebec or in a country outside the US or Canada, you would need to purchase travel insurance from a local insurance provider.
We always recommend getting travel insurance which can be of great help in case of any issues that may arise. Insurance is optional and additional. Insurance can safeguard you against the unknown and provide financial refunds on your travel investment depending on the circumstance. The amount of refund is based on the reason you provide to the insurance company at the time you file your claim. The cost of the insurance is non-refundable once purchased.
Insurance rates will vary based on residency, age, and total package price. Typical average insurance prices are between $99-$199 per person.

Riviera Maya & Cancun Area Eco Tax
The government of the Municipality of Benito Juarez Quintana Roo has added an Environmental Tax, which is the payment for the environmental sanitation right, applicable to all visitors per room per night. Tax of 26 Mexican pesos, (approx. 1.40 USD) per room, per night. This tax will have to be paid directly at the Destination.
For example: A room that stays 3 nights will be charged a total of $4.20 by the resort for this environmental tax.
Visitax for Quintana ROO Cancun and Cozumel Airports
We would like to inform you that as of April 1, 2021, the state of Quintana Roo will be requiring all foreign tourists to pay a tax of $271 Mexican pesos (around $16 USD). The payment can be made prior to travel, upon arrival or during the stay, as the tax will be imposed upon departure. Visitors will have the option to access http://visitax.gob.mx/, where they will complete a brief questionnaire and make the payment.
The VISITAX form will request the following information:
• Number of people traveling
• Name, age, and passport number of each individual
• Departure date
Every tourist departing the state of Quintana Roo must show their proof of payment at the airport prior to boarding.

Accommodation Pricing
The room information above specifies room category and price per night based on occupancy. Flights are NOT included. Rates will vary according to room occupancy, so please check with our travel agent based on your specific needs.
Rates listed below INCLUDE:
1. All inclusive accommodations at Moon Palace The Grand, including meals, drinks and activities as defined by the resort. Additionally, special food will be catered for all wedding events
2. All taxes, fees and tips, bellman and housekeeping fees.
3. Waived Private Event Fees.
Bedding is ON REQUEST and is not guaranteed. Bedding refers to the bed types in the room (i.e. king bed, double beds). Our agency will submit your bedding request to the resort. The resort will do its best to provide it; however, they do not guarantee bedding.
Single Occupancy = 1 adult in the room
Double Occupancy = 2 adults in the room
Triple Occupancy = 3 adults in the room
Quad Occupancy = 4 adults in the room

If there is an active promotion running by Palace resorts, we will compare and pick the lower rate for booking. Promotions unfortunately cannot be retroactively applied.
Reserve your accommodations for our special celebration
Any booking made after 11/18/2026 will be due in full.
For guaranteed accommodations, and in accordance with the resort booking policies, the Book by Date for this wedding is 11/18/2026, however, we can assist you with room bookings until 1/21/2027 (final payment date) provided the resort has availability. All guests are encouraged to book well in advance of this date.

If your travel dates are outside of the dates listed at the top of this page, we will need to confirm availability with the resort to have them add the nights in the system to book your room. This can take 5-7 business days while the resort adds the nights into the system.
